How to measure

If you want your blind to be fitted OUTSIDE the recess then:
1. Measure the width of the actual recess plus an additional amount - between 5-10cm (2" - 4") whatever you think looks right
2. Measure the exact drop of the recess. The blind would be fitted above the recess, so check the space above and add some to the drop - usually 15-20cm (6" - 8")
These sizes you have taken will be the size of the finished blind. The amount of fabric required will be more than this finished size to allow for turnings. Our website will automatically calculate the required size when you order.

If you want your blind to be fitted INSIDE the recess then:
1. Measure the exact width of the recess in three places - at the top of the recess, in the centre of the recess and near the bottom - then take the smallest size
2. Measure the exact drop of the recess - again in three places - on the left hand side of the recess, in the centre of the recess and on the right hand side of the recess - then take the smallest size.
We will make the blind approx 1.5cm smaller than the size you have given us, to allow for the blind to pull up and down easily. The amount of fabric required will be more than this finished size to allow for turnings..

2. Clip the support rail onto the supports by resting the rail onto position A and press back. To remove the rail depress and release catch B.
3. Cut any excess cord from cord pull supplied

Using The Cord Lock
To unlock the cords and allow the blind to rise and fall, angle the cord to the left and pull, and either raise or lower the blind
To lock the blind in place, angle the cords to the right and release.
